Well,
I got up at 7am today. I went to bed at 2am and after watching Battle Royal, my dreams were a bit messed up.
Last night was ok. There were 6 of us here watching an un-romantic film. We were having our anti-valentines day thing as we're all sad. Nobody loves us so we hate romantic-soppy like days. Anyhoo, its a day full of cack money-grabbing ideas. If your in love with someone surely you should show it everyday not because someone has told you too!
So, we watched Battle Royal. A japanese subtitled film. The film is about how kids in Japan take the mick out of adults so classes throughout Japan are selected to go on a island and out of 30-ish kids, kill each other. They have 3 days to find a winner. The winner being the one kid who is still alive. The catch was, if no-one was the winner, the necklace things they were wearing would explode killing all the remaining alive.
Now, these kids are about 14-15 years old and through 2 examples of how the 'game' works, did exactly as they were told. They were given a bag with a weapon of some sort, some of which included a dustbin lid or binoculars (fair or what), or guns and axes! One kid had an arrow gun and went totally mad with it! Never the less, the ending was very random. The teacher who was explaining the rules seemed to be a bit of a loon and was obsessed with one of his students. He had drawn a picture with the other class mates dead (heads ripped off and stuff) with her still alive (the winner) with a halo around her.
Now, I will say that maybe you should watch this film (bear in mind, its extremely gory (no, really, heads exploded) so if you dont like gore, dont watch it) and make up your own mind. It was an ok film but the ending was really randomly pap!
Oh, and I must say, it definatly fitted in with the 'no ramance' theme!
